So I never thought there would come a day where wood watches were actually a thing. Boy was I wrong. I was shopping for some new Spring jewelry and I came across Jord Watches when I searched for some unique jewelry and to my surprise, it really caught my attention.
What is a Jord Wood Watch?
Jord watches is a brand of handcrafted wood watches made from raw and refined materials. When you first visit Jord Watches you notice they have regular watches (men’s and women’s) as well as Apple Watch bands. Both the Jord watches and the Apple bands are made out of complete wood with stainless steel and titanium interlaced. Wood watches means you are able to get a variety of colors like ash, plum, dark sandalwood and my favorite, ebony. All Jord watches are splash-proof but not entirely waterproof meaning they shouldn’t be submerged in water. And most conveniently, Jord custom fits their wood watches to your wrist!
Jord Wood Watches: Frankie Series
My favorite wood watch is the Frankie series from Jord because it’s sleek and clean. I got the ebony/gold watch and when I first received it I was so surprised not only at the presentation of it’s arrival but the wood watch is super light weight! You can really see and feel the quality of the Jord watch at first glance. Their website recommends lemon or orange oil extract for cleaning the natural wood. When you receive your Jord watch, it comes with a super cute microfiber cleaning cloth, extra bands and some tools to help remove or add on bands.

Jord Wood Watches: Cassia Series
When determining which watch I was going to get, Cassia Series was my runner up. I fell in love with the roman numeral numbers and the fact they also had a gold and ebony color — again there’s a pattern here . I almost did go with this series instead because the watch band is slightly smaller and is more feminine. But ultimately I decided with the Frankie because I enjoy the unisex look of the watch and my boyfriend could borrow it if he wanted to.
