Favorite Kate Spade items, there’s so many it is hard to choose. Many young women know about Kate Spade handbags. Whether it’s because of their love for up-and-coming brands, advertising with Anna Kendrick or simply because they come across her brand in Nordstrom, Macy’s or Dillards.

Favorite Kate Spade Items for 2018

1. The Sleekest Card Holder

Everyone needs a card holder and this sleek card holder in black is one of my favorite Kate Spade items. These little guys come in clutch! The times of giant wallets with multiple zippers and coin pockets are gone. For the past several years I have only used a card holder as a wallet due to smaller purses and minimizing clutter. The Cameron Street card holder has a classic and simplistic style that fits any purse style.

2. Cat Eye Shades for Any Season

I have to admit I am biased towards cat eye sunglasses. We all have our favorite styles but one of my favorite Kate Spade accessories are her glasses specifically the Jizelle 55mm gradient cat eye sunglasses. The classic shape and style matches every outfit in any season. Although they might be a little dark for gloomy bright days in LA, they still provide a chic and sleek look. In fact, this particular style is available at Nordstrom on sale for 50% off. What a steal!

3. See Through “Love is in the Air” Umbrella

If you’re like me and enjoy photography with cute props like a see through umbrella, then the Polka dot clear “Love is in the air” umbrella will be perfect for you. This Spring, the LA weather has been kinda tricky and bipolar (to say the least) we have experience some rain, gloomy days and some extreme heat. I have a very similar umbrella and always look forward to some rain or drizzle to put mine to use. If you are looking to add a cute umbrella to your collection, look no further this will easily become your favorite Kate Spade accessory.

4. Posh Contemporary Satchel to Feed the Soul

Do you ever get those Breakfast at Tiffany’s vibes? Where you wear all black, pull out your best heels and throw on some sexy accessories? Well this purse fits perfectly with that vibe. Kate’s latest take on a satchel purse makes quite a statement. Although small, the White Rock Road Sam Satchel is very roomy with just enough space for all your essentials while maintaining a sleek sexy vibe. 5. Can’t Never Have Enough Neutrals

The Kingston bag series has been my favorite Kate Spade look due to its versatility. The adorable Kingston Drive Arla purse in bleach bone is the perfect neutral crossbody for day and night use. Crossbody purses have been all the rage for me the last 3 years. They’re so easy to match with any day outfit and blend easily with your night time style specially when you’re on a time crunch and can’t switch purses.

6. Dust Pink is Here to Stay

I would be lying if I said I didn’t go through a dust pink phase. Millennial pink, rose gold and dust pink has been all the rage in accessories, clothing and even hair. Not only are backpacks very stylish this year also very useful and the Watson is the perfect size. Unlike those backpacks that are smaller than a purse, this one is spacious enough but small enough that you don’t look like you’re heading to a 3pm Stats class at your local college😆

Remembering My First Kate Spade ♠️

The first time I can remember hearing about Kate Spade and her brand was back in 2013. I was working in corporate retail as an allocation analyst and we handled many designer name brands. The company is an off-price chain and we knew the giant discounts provided. At the time, one of my roommates found a big steal on a multi-colored crossbody Kate Spade which I didn’t even know about. I looked into her brand and instantly fell in love.

Kate was very Inspiring to women. She made her love for colorful style known and encourage every women and young girl to be themselves, love life and to be honest and fair. She took inspiration from everyday and her style was classic with a youthful twist. I hope to see Kate Spade New York hold the integrity of the brand moving forward after Kate’s passing.
